Cookie Policy
A small amount of state is stored in your browser so the AI concierge can remember your recent conversation, staff can stay signed in to the admin area, and we can count page views — anonymously — to see what's working. We set no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. We also use closely related technologies — localStorage and sessionStorage — and we refer to them collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
Strictly necessary
Required to run the website and provide the services you explicitly ask for. The admin sign-in token below is set only for staff who log in to the admin area at /admin — it is never set for guests browsing the public site.

Functional
Remember choices you make so a feature can work across page loads. These stay in your own browser and are not shared with advertisers.

Analytics
We log page views to our own backend so we can see, in aggregate, which pages are used. This is first-party only: an anonymous identifier (ba_session) is kept in your browser's sessionStorage and sent with page-view records to our own Supabase (Lovable Cloud) backend. It sets no third-party cookies, builds no advertising profile, and there is no Google Analytics, Meta pixel or similar tool on this site.

Third-party content
Some content is served from other providers, which means your IP address is visible to them so they can deliver it. These do not set tracking cookies on our site: Google Fonts (typefaces), OpenStreetMap (map tiles, displayed via Leaflet) and Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery). Reservations are sent server-side to our booking provider, Cloudbeds, and the AI concierge replies are generated through the Lovable AI gateway — see the Privacy Notice for details.
Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies on a per-site basis. The relevant settings are usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings". You can also browse in private / incognito mode to discard cookies at the end of the session.
If you block strictly necessary storage, the staff admin area will not work. Clearing localStorage will reset your saved AI concierge conversation.
Because we only use first-party storage and set no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, there is no consent banner to manage. If you would prefer your visits not be counted in our first-party page-view analytics, email us at privacy@bethsaidasxm.com and we will exclude your sessions.
We update this policy as we add or remove tools. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
