Is there an elevator? Is the property accessible?

Please note BethsAida is a multi-level building. The conference center and the D'Nova coffee lounge are on the ground floor with their own step-free entrance, so meetings, events and breakfast are easy to reach without stairs. Our guest rooms, however, are on the first and second floors and are reached by stairs — there is no elevator. We're always glad to help with luggage, and if you have mobility needs please contact us before booking so we can talk you through it and do our best to help.

We're at #1 Sister Patientia Houtman Rd. in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten — about 5–10 minutes by car from Princess Juliana International (SXM). The marinas, restaurants and beaches of Simpson Bay are within easy reach, most just minutes away.

Yes — free parking on-site, right out front. No need to hunt for a spot or pay a garage.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Arriving early or leaving late? Message us and we'll do our best to accommodate when the room allows.

We're only 5–10 minutes from SXM, so a taxi is quick and easy. If you'd like us to help arrange a transfer, just let us know your flight details in advance.

How do I get the best rate?

Always by booking direct on this website. You'll get our lowest rate with no travel-site commission baked in — and this summer, direct bookings take 18% off automatically. Our signature Runway View Suites aren't listed on the travel sites at all.

How do I pay?

We take payment on arrival at the front desk — no card details are collected when you reserve online. When you book direct you're holding the room with us, and you settle at check-in.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Do you offer rates for longer stays?

Yes — if you're staying a week or more (a lot of our guests work remotely from here), message us and we'll put together a longer-stay rate. The Studio with Kitchenette is especially popular for extended stays.

Absolutely — it's a big part of why BethsAida exists. Fast, business-grade Wi-Fi runs throughout the building, every room has a proper desk, and downstairs the conference center has day offices, a co-work lounge and meeting rooms when you need a real workspace or a change of scene. Yes. The ground-floor conference center has a flexible training hall (up to 100), a private boardroom, breakout rooms and day offices — AV ready and catered by D'Nova. Tell us your dates and numbers on the Conference Center page and we'll send a proposal.

What is D'Nova?

D'Nova is our ground-floor coffee lounge — a Caribbean breakfast and proper coffee in partnership with VR Coffee, open to guests and the public alike. It's opening soon; you can read more on the D'Nova page.

Question 13

Can I watch the planes come in?

Accepted Answer

You can — it's one of the best free shows on the island. Between about three and six each afternoon the big jets drop in low over Simpson Bay toward the SXM runway, and from our pool deck you can watch them at eye level, drink in hand. We open the deck for a runway happy hour during those hours, for guests and visitors alike.
