01Why we exist

A house built around the working day

Sint Maarten runs on business — the airlines and their crews, the marine industry of the lagoon, the consultants, contractors and remote workers who pass through Princess Juliana every week. For years, their only options were impersonal airport hotels or holiday resorts that never quite understood the working day.

BethsAida is the answer: a twelve-room boutique hotel and conference center that takes work seriously and hospitality even more so. Fast Wi-Fi and a proper desk, yes — but also a pool deck, a coffee lounge, and a team that knows your name by the second morning.

We're minutes from the airport and the marinas, a quiet base in the middle of everything that brings you to the island — and a place that's just as glad to host a weekend by the bay as a week of meetings.

Our corner of the island is its busiest and most beloved — the lagoon, the marinas, the restaurants and beaches of Simpson Bay, and the famous approach to Princess Juliana International, where the afternoon flights come in low over the water. From our deck, it's the best free show in the Caribbean.
